Delete your data - PHYSICS LAB
App: PHYSICS LAB (Google Play: com.projectteamforyou.physicslab)
Developer: Project Team For You
Contact: [email protected]
PHYSICS LAB has no accounts. Your progress lives on your own device; the server only holds what you chose to share online (published levels, leaderboard and Daily Lab entries), linked to a random device ID. You can delete all of it in the steps below.
1. Ask us to delete your data on our server
- Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data - PHYSICS LAB".
- Write your leaderboard name and, if you published any, the names of your levels.
- If several entries could be yours, we may ask a detail only you would know (for example the level or the day of a record). We never ask for anything else.
- We delete the data and reply within 30 days.
Delete a published level yourself
Editor → open the level → Share → Delete. It is removed from the gallery and the server at once.
2. Delete the data on your device
- Android app: Settings → Apps → PHYSICS LAB → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app.
- Website: press "Clear my records" on the site, or delete this site's data in your browser settings.
This removes progress, settings, drafts, reminders and the device ID from that device.
3. What is deleted and what is kept
| Data | On your request | Otherwise kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Published levels (layout, solution, name, creator name, hint) | Deleted | Until you or we delete them |
| Leaderboard records (name, time, placement) | Deleted | While the level and its board exist |
| Weekly time trial records | Deleted | 12 weeks after the week |
| Daily Lab scores | Deleted | 90 days |
| Likes and plays you gave to gallery levels | Deleted | Plays: 90 days |
| Device ID hash stored with the entries above | Deleted | As long as those entries |
| Reports you sent about a level | Kept | Up to 12 months after they are handled |
Kept after deletion: reports you filed stay as moderation records for up to 12 months after they are handled. Site-wide totals (visits, games played, play and like counts) contain nothing about you and are not deleted. Our hosting providers (Railway, Cloudflare) keep standard technical access logs for a short time under their own security policies.
